This term we are learning all about the ocean and different types of sea life.
Using knowledge you already have, or what you have learnt so far, answer the following questions:
Do you believe that the ocean is important? Why or why not?
What is your favourite type of sea life and why?
Yes I believe the ocean is very important because it is a home for many sea life creatures. We use the ocean for fishing and diving to provide us with seafood, such as fish, oysters, prawns, lobsters and crabs. Prawns are my favourite seafood. Yummy! Sharks are also my favourite sea creatures because they are ginormous, very scary and they have very sharp teeth. Chomp!

ReplyDeleteYes the ocean (sea) is good because if we did not have water we would not survive without water and we would not have any sea creatures. My favourite sea creature is a dolphin because I like when they jump really high in the air and when they jump up to get the fish off the person!

Just like you Sophie, I also like dolphins. I also like whales and turtles but dolphins are my favourite. It is my dream to one day swim with a dolphin and a turtle. :)

DeleteYes I think the ocean is very important because it is the home of all sea creatures such as sharks, clown fish, octopus, star fish. The ocean is important for all sea animals as it is where they get their food from. It is also where we get yummy seafood from.
ReplyDeleteMy favourite sea creature is a dugong because it is friendly and interesting to look at. I can't wait to see one at the aquarium next week.
I am glad that you are excited about the excursion next week Ben. Hopefully we get to see the dugongs as you would like. Have you chosen dugongs as your research animal or did you decide to research something different?

Yes I think the ocean is important because it gives sea animals life, it also gives us food and many people on earth rely on the ocean to survive.

I think the ocean is important for sea creatures to survive. My favourite sea creature is a dolphin because it can jump up in the air and because it has a smooth skin.

ReplyDeleteMy favourite sea creature is an octopus because it can camouflage it's body, tentacles and ink can come out of his bottom. I also like an octopus because it has eight arms and that's why it's my favourite sea creature.
I enjoyed going on our excursion to the Sydney Aquarium. I had a lot of fun and got to learn a lot about the sea creatures.I like the fish because they swim fast. I also liked that mum got to come to the excursion as a parent helper, that was cool.
